When risk is high for mental illness and addiction, interventions must be designed to meet the needs of children in school. How do we recognize a child’s mental health symptoms, and what do we do? What must happen to bring effective means of detection and interventions into the school setting, and how do we influence the cultural climate so that there is more ease with discussing behavioral health challenges?
